d. SKETE OF SAINT DIMITRIOS (Vatopediou)

The Russian skete of Saint Andrew near Karyes also belongs to the monastery of Vatopediou, as we have already mentioned, as well as the Greek skete of Saint Dimitrios that is idiorhythmic and situated at the South West of the Monastery.
The sixteen of the twenty-one huts are currently closed.
The Kyriako was decorated in 1755 and its outside narthex was built in 1796 and painted in 1806.
The skete also has a library with 73 manuscripts and almost 200 books. There are 8-10 monks.
